Civic Engagement
Our legislators hold the keys to creating laws that affect us directly on the ground. For that purpose it’s imperative that we have representation on the Hill, both locally and federally, to ensure we progress, and raise awareness of the impacts we are seeing within our communities.
We support the efforts of the Utah Pacific Islander Civic Engagement Coalition to get our PI community registered to vote and our voices heard. Visit their Facebook page to see where & how to register to vote, what legislative bills will affect us, and see where in the community they are to speak in person to them.
Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) is the nation’s leading nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to engaging, educating, and empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities to strengthen and sustain a culture of civic engagement.
