UPIC is the only state-recognized Chamber of Commerce serving the Pacific Islander Community.
We are a 501(c)6 organization.
August 2025, Our chamber was recognized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their commitment and contribution to the community here in Utah. We were honored to have our chamber board members as well as the Women's Executive Alliance board members present for this achievement.
Now in its fifth year, Comcast RISE provides financial support, advanced technology solutions, and creative services to propel small businesses forward. This year, 100 new grant packages were awarded to deserving entrepreneurs in Utah’s Wasatch Front, including proud members of the Utah Pacific Islander Chamber of Commerce (UPIC).
The Utah Pacific Islander Chamber is proud to celebrate Dan Korolev, Owner of We Are Royals LLC, for being named a Comcast RISE recipient. Dan exemplifies the resilience, creativity, and leadership that define Pacific Islander entrepreneurship in Utah and beyond.
For Dan, the Comcast RISE grant is more than a financial award—it’s a validation of the innovative solutions and vision that We Are Royals LLC brings to the business community. “This opportunity allows us to amplify our reach, reinvest into our growth, and continue serving our clients at the highest level,” Dan shared. “Being recognized alongside so many incredible small business owners is both humbling and inspiring.”
Programs like Comcast RISE demonstrate the power of investing in small businesses. By equipping entrepreneurs with tools, funding, and visibility, these initiatives fuel innovation, create jobs, and strengthen local communities. When small businesses thrive, we all benefit.
As the Utah Pacific Islander Chamber of Commerce celebrates this milestone for Dan and We Are Royals LLC, we invite you to join us in supporting Pacific Islander entrepreneurs across the state. Together, we can continue building stronger businesses, stronger families, and stronger communities.
💡 Congratulations again to Dan Korolev and We Are Royals LLC on this outstanding achievement!

At our Utah Association of Chambers Summer Conference, UPIC received the award for 2024 Best Community Partnership Award with partnerships such as The Mill at SLCC, Junior Achievement of Utah, and many others.
We are grateful to all our partners for their willingness to collaborate and help us provide the necessary resources and needs of our Pacific Islander business community. We look forward to our continued efforts in 2025.
Our mission is to unite and uplift our community, prioritizing the common good over personal gain. We strive to bridge gaps, overcome obstacles, offer solutions, promote local businesses, empower education, and foster civic participation. We firmly believe in the power of collaboration, extending support, and embracing the LIFT approach: Learn, Invest, Forecast, and Train. Our community is our family, and together, we can achieve great things.
Together we can
Together we will
Our Logo represents our Pacific Islander community; past, present, and future.
UPIC stands for Utah Pacific Islander Chamber. Below UPIC lies the journey of our ancestors from across the oceans to the western region of the United States of America, and across the plains. Whether by air, land, or sea, they arrived to the sight of the mountains here in Utah. Above UPIC shows the mountains representing the red rock hills of St. George to the rocky terrain of the Wasatch Mountains. From farmlands to railroads, to the bustling suburban landscape, our pacific island community thrives in exchange and commerce with our global community. The 4 stars represent our chamber goals of; Growth From Within, Bring Business To Our Businesses, Culturally Relevant Business Training & Education, and Civic Engagement.
